Poker's all-time money winner in live tournament action gave it a go at the cash game tables in Bobby's Room the other day, and it appears that Daniel Negreanu enjoyed himself immensely.
According to KidPoker's post on Twitter, stacks of chips were leaning heavily in his direction while playing for high stakes at Bellagio.
Although it isn't entirely clear who Daniel's tablemates were, we do know that Scott Seiver was among the participants. Fresh from his appearance on "Poker After Dark" last month that saw episodes devoted entirely to him on "Leave it to Seiver Week," Scott echoed Negreanu's sentiments about having a great time in Bobby's Room.
While the high stakes action in Bobby's Room was in full swing, a fan of Daniel Negreanu's was apparently feeling a bit starstruck about seeing her poker idol in the flesh. The fangirl took to social media in hopes of perhaps breaking the ice.
It seems her tweet did indeed get the attention of the Poker Hall of Famer, as well as a number of other Twitter followers who assured the fangirl that Daniel was very approachable. Negreanu tweeted his own reply, and appeared entirely willing to accomodate the young lass.
However, respect and perhaps fear apparently won out. The following tweet seems to indicate that the KidPoker fan would continue her admiration of the PokerStars Team Pro from a distance.
Although there may not have been a happy ending to the poker fan and poker pro meetup, we know of at least one Negreanu follower who was ecstatic about seeing tweets from KidPoker that actually pertain to poker - and not politics. Known for posting a lot of liberal, anti-Trump tweets as of late, the original posting of Daniel about having fun in Bobby's Room drew this response on Twitter.
