Andy Beal Playing Todd Brunson at Bellagio

According to 2+2 and Twitter reports that surfaced early this morning, Andy Beal, a legendary rich banker who lost millions to ‘The Corporation’ back in the day is back in action! Apparently, he's been playing heads-up Limit Hold’em against Todd Brunson. Starting stacks are around $5 million each!

As one could expect, the updates from this rather private game are scarce, but Kyle Loman (Twitter handle @Kloman22, as I have a distinct feeling you may be interested in following him) was able to gather some info and keep all the eager fans somewhat updated and even took a photo.
This is the best I could get. Looks about even now at 5 million each pic.twitter.com/I1oA74Liym

Although there were some 20 people in the room when the match first started, after a couple hours of play, only Brunson senior was left to rail his son. An hour after that, Doyle went to bed as well, but the two continued battling it out.
For a while Todd and Andy were sitting on approximately even stacks, but then Todd was able to capture a momentum and started gaining some ground on his opponent.
Small break I think. Beal just won a nice one. Todd still with a nice lead. 7.5 to 2.5 approx

After some more back and forth, Brunson Jr. was able to go for a KO, further reducing Beal’s stack to under one million and eventually delivering the finishing blow.
Todd just felted Beal. They fist bumped and he left the room. They're done for tonight. Todd wins 5 million. More updates tomorrow hopefully

Hopefully, the action will resume later today / tomorrow and we will see a continuation of the long awaited rematch between Beal and Brunson. Although Beal has vowed never to play again against the players who took him for millions, it seems that his love for poker and the desire to beat them in their own game got the better of him.
Can the banker turn the things around, or will another $10+ million loss chapter be added to ‘The Professor, the Banker and the Suicide King’?
Either way, there is one thing that everybody can agree on – we want more!
