Get your tops off and your backwards caps on, because Damien Cooper is back with another vlog full of Gorgeous Viennese cityscapes and one filthy as obstacle course. Cooper isn’t one of the big names in poker – $30,000 in tournament wins according to the Hendon Mob, and just a few hundred subscribers on YouTube – but he really ought to be a bigger name in poker vlogging.

Given the quality of his videos it’s surprising he’s not got more followers watching him. Although some of that may be due to the the hand histories he does which are wholly done as a talking head. It is a lot harder to follow the action when it is presented without the graphics or text that a lot of other vloggers opt for. Plus some footage of the game behind the voice over is always nice; it is a visual medium after all.

But in this video you’re not watching for the poker content, you’re just watching to watch.

Here is someone who really knows what he is doing with his camera. Beautiful slo-mo, clever depth of field stuff, some great poker action shots, and Hardcore Henry style point of view action.

He’s also someone who has a solid grasp of the editing software: the music video montage of the mud run is one of the best put together sequences I’ve seen on a poker vlog. Although even he couldn’t resist using that one music track that everyone in poker seems mandated to use.

See it in all its glory below:
