FTOPS XXVI Kicks Off Today

The new edition of Full Tilt Online Series of Poker is scheduled to start today, and no doubt that all online MTT grinders are ecstatic. Although Full Tilt may have lost some of its former fame, FTOPS still remains one of the biggest online tournament series.

The event that will get the things going is the $200+$15 rebuy tournament with $300K guaranteed. Also starting today is the $55 multi-day event that will feature numerous Day 1 flights before all the players eventually merging on August 10th for the Day 2 to play down to the winner.

There will be total of 30 events spread across the Series that lasts until Sunday, August 17th, when another multi-day event, Event #17, with $109 buyin and 300k guaranteed will play its final day. This is also the day when the big one, FTOPS Main Event, will take place. Featuring the buyin of $635 (with reentries) and $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, this one is guaranteed to attract some of the biggest sharks floating around in virtual poker waters.

Together with cash, winners of individual events will also be receiving gold FTOPS jersey as well as gold-jersey avatars. The best player at the end of the Series sitting on top of the FTOPS leaderboard will also receive a four-month Black Card sponsorship contract together with 100% rake return on their play.

Another big event is $2,100 $500,000 guaranteed scheduled for the last day of the FTOPS as well. Apart from NLHE tournaments, players who enjoy different poker formats will also have their days. There are several events featuring HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Eight and even No Limit Omaha and Six Card Omaha scattered over the two-week period, so no one should feel left out.
