If you ever fancied playing the World Series of Poker and being coached by a legend of the game in the process, then the ā€˜Above the Foldā€™ charity poker night is the place to be at the end of February, Daniel Negreanu hosting the charity event and offering some poker time with himself as part of the prizes!

Billed as ā€˜A sky high salute to service and sacrificeā€™, the poker event will be the main attraction on Sunday, February 25th, raising funds for the Folded Flag Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to ā€˜honoring U.S. military fallen heroes by aiding their families with financial support for continued educationā€™.

The Hotel Andaz West Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard will play host to the afternoon of poker, a re-buy event in which  the winner will earn a coveted seat at a WSOP Main Event - and a chance to play heads up against PokerStarsā€™ most famous pro, Daniel Negreanu. Beat ā€˜KidPokerā€™ at his own game heads-up and heā€™ll be coaching you in your quest for glory in Vegasā€™ July biggie.

Negreanu has always found time to use his fame and position in the poker world to help those less-fortunate, last year involved in the St Judeā€™s ā€˜Against All Oddsā€™ celebrity charity tournament, as well as the 1st Annual Diamond Foundation Scholarship charity poker event aimed at funding education and occupational guidance for high school youth and community scholarship programs.

If the poker doesnā€™t go so well in California, thereā€™s also a Reception and Casino Night to follow the tournament, with a silent auction and a wine and food pairing masterclass with Master Sommelier Robert Smith.
