It is that time of year again – time to take a step back and contemplate the good, the bad, and everything in-between that happened during the past year. But even more importantly, it is the time of year to show appreciation for everyone that influenced our lives during the year and send them best wishes for the future.

For PokerTube as a whole, it was an exciting year with a lot happening on many different fronts. Apart from our video library that continues to offer you the pleasure of enjoying some of the best moments in poker, we expanded the site to bring you coverage of live poker events. We also introduced our poker news section, all done to provide a complete poker experience in terms of the latest happenings in the world of poker.

Overall, it’s been a fun ride, with a few expected (and unexpected) bumps along the way; but nobody thought for even a moment that it would be smooth sailing at all time. That is exactly why our heartfelt holiday greetings first and foremost go to everybody who’s been with us along the way. It is the support from you, our audience, that keeps us going the most. To all of you who enjoy PokerTube – Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! May you spend them with those you love and in good health!

2014 has been another groundbreaking year for PokerTube. The highlight has got to be PokerTube's emphatic return to the WSOP with our 'PokerTube Vegas' coverage (sponsored by Betfair), where our star reporter team of Rikard Aberg and Laura Cornelius gave unprecedented and critically acclaimed media exposure of the event. In addition to this, we launched 'PokerTube News,' thus far proving to be a great success and in line with our vision of providing the best poker media coverage in the World.

We're delighted to say that Rikard and Laura will reunite in early January 2015 to report live from the Pokerstars Carribean Adventure - a star-studded event where we plan to add our distinct flavour and renowned feature length interviews.

Wishing all of our viewers a very Merry Christmas and Majestic New Year...We'll do our part to make it a great one for poker!" Stewart Dunlop, 180Vita COO;

Of course, a lot of what we're doing could not be possible without support from the poker community. There are too many to mention by name, but they know who they are. To all of you who helped PokerTube in any way, shape or form – Happy Holidays, and may the New Year bring you a lot of monstrous pots and cool titles – we’ll be there to follow up and enjoy your success together with you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish the happiest of holidays to all of our loyal PokerTubers! 2014 was certainly an interesting year in terms of happenings surrounding the world of poker. I expect 2015 to be equally as exciting, and I look forward to reporting on the events that unfold!" Charles Rettmuller, PokerTube writer;

As for me personally, this was a very exciting year as my life took a direction that I did not see coming. And although it hasn’t always been easy, I am grateful for every moment and every new person I got to meet. I will not try to verbalize my feelings toward everything that’s happened (as I would risk going into TL;DR) territory. Instead, I will wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all the best in your future endeavors, wherever you may be and whatever your day job may be!

And remember, whenever you need a distraction, just hop on over to PokerTube. If you love poker, there is always something to pick you up, guaranteed!
