The first ever €111,111 One Drop High Roller to be played in Europe is selling out fast as more than half the seats have already been filled and the event is still seven months away.
Dozens of marquee players have already confirmed their participation by paying the €11,000 non-refundable deposit. Those high rollers don't want to miss this exciting World Series of Poker Europe event as only 111 seats are available.
The tournament will be played November 3, 2017 at Kings Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic as part of the WSOP Europe Festival. That poker fest will pay out over €20 million in guaranteed prize money from October 19 thru November 10, awarding 11 gold bracelets in the process.
Early Registrants
"We already have a staggering 50 players registered," said Kings Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik of the One Drop High Roller. “These kind of numbers are something that is surely unprecedented in an event of this kind this far away from it starting."
Here are the players who have committed by paying the €11,000 non-refundable deposit. Almost another dozen players have done so as well, but have elected to remain anonymous for the time being.

The 2017 WSOPE in Rozvadov will be the largest poker festival outside of Las Vegas and includes WSOP Circuit action that runs just prior to the WSOPE from September 28 thru October 19. The Kings Casino website is billing the 44 days of non-stop action "as the largest, longest, richest and most ambitious poker series ever attempted in Europe."
WSOP executive director Ty Stewart envisions the Rozvadov WSOPE "becoming the European equivalent of the WSOP in Las Vegas, something we have always dreamed of doing."
Money Drop
One Drop is the WSOP's official charity that raises money in order to provide clean water to impoverished countries. More than $18.5 million has been raised since Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte established the charitable foundation in 2012.
There is also a €1,100 Little One for One Drop scheduled for Nov. 1 & 2 that guarantees €500,000 in prize money. Those events are destined to increase the money raised by poker players for One Drop to over $20 million.
