Isildur1 in the Unibet Cash Game

We are used to seeing Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom playing the highest available stakes online, but it’s been a while since we’ve last seen him take a seat at the live cash tables. However, in just a few hours, we will have the pleasure of watching ‘Isildur1’ butting heads with other pros and amateurs in the UnibetCash Game, which will be streamed live on PokerTube.
Blom’s confirmation that he would join the Unibet Cash Game started speculation about a potential sponsorship agreement with the room, and the accuracy of those rumors will likely be known quite soon. If Unibet and the Swedish pro are actually planning to enter some sort of an agreement, this would be the perfect occasion to announce such a partnership.
Unibet is hosting a three-day long cash game session as part of their 30th edition celebration. Dubbed The Golden Cash Game, apart from Isildur1, it will greet players like Neil Channing, who recently joined Sky Poker, Teddy Sheringham , former Manchester United and England National Team star, another former footballer George Boateng, Lars Bonding, Matt Frankland, Jamie Sykes, Arto Loikkanen and Vera Kelleher.
This is just the Day 1 starting lineup and as time moves on, other players will be taking their places at the tables as well. Some of those mentioned in the original Unibet press release are Dan Glimne, sports commentator Morten Langli, hockey star Esa Tikkanen, and more.

The Golden Cash Game starts today at 4:00 PM and will last for several hours. The lineup should provide for some interesting action as there will be a good mix of professional players and amateur enthusiasts. Of course, Viktor Blom will be the center of attention and we will be anxiously waiting to see if the Swedish phenom will tie a knot with Unibet.
Some have expressed feelings that Blom and Unibet are not a great match, considering Isildur’s fondness for the nosebleed action that is nonexistent at Unibet at the moment, but with the company’s big marketing efforts recently, they could still have undisclosed future plans – the sort of plans where Blom fits perfectly!
