A slew of charges have been filed against a drunk man who interrupted gamblers at Diamond Jacks Casino last Tuesday by removing all his clothes and acting crazy, including tossing chairs at police officers who were attempting to restrain him.
The cops eventually were able to subdue Terrence Roquemore, 24, by spraying him with a chemical solution and firing beanbags at him. Two police officers were slightly injured in the disturbance, as was a lady gambler who apparently got too big a whiff of the chemical spray.
Bossier City police took Roquemore to the hospital for psychological evaluation. He was later released into police custody and booked for aggravated battery, aggravated assault on a police officer, battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force, and disturbing the peace while drunk, according to the Shreveport Times.
The incident occurred at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, law enforcement arriving at Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel after being summoned by a report of a disorderly individual who wouldn't leave the casino when asked to. As can be seen in the accompanying video, the man refused to comply with the requests of police officers, prompting the use of force.
