Norm MacDonald has confirmed his participation in Joe Stapleton’s Comedy Night at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2019.

It all started with a tweet from comedian and poker commentator Joe Stapleton, proposing a stand-up comedy night at the 2019 edition of the PCA.

Soon the then-hypothetical event took shape with many players showing their support. Eventually, the positive response was so big that PokerStars couldn’t ignore it and made it official. Poker playing comedians Ben Ludlow, Clayton Fletcher and Stapes himself signed up to perform, great additions, but it still needed a headliner to make the whole event come together.

Norm MacDonald’s name came up, and Stapes jumped into the opportunity to share a stage with a comedy legend. Norm is the perfect headliner for an event like this, he is the rare mainstream comedian that poker players enjoy seeing at the table.  After teasing and keeping his followers in suspense for a few days, Norm finally confirmed his attendance with a tweet.

The event will be in the Bahamas at the PCA on January 8th, 2019.

Now we want to hear from you! What comedian would you like to see at a future Poker Comedy Night? I recommended comedy legend and former WSOP and High Stakes Poker commentator Gabe Kaplan and was completely ignored. Not that I’m salty or anything, just saying.
