Online Site 64spades.com âFailing to Pay Outâ Claims Poker Podcaster

Poker player and podcaster Steve Barton has warned players on the US-facing online poker site 64spades.com not to deposit money, claiming that the site is failing to pay withdrawals, Barton himself not expecting to see the $4000+ he has on the site.
The HeadsUpPoker podcast man produced a short YouTube video explaining the problems he faced with a recent withdrawal, also releasing an audio-only version in which Barton starts by saying:
âI need to reach out to you guys, especially the ones who have been on SixFourSpades as quickly as possible. I just heard about 30 minutes ago that SixFourSpades is not paying outâ.
Barton goes on to explain that a few months ago he had no problems cashing out after some good tournament results, but his âgood relationshipâ with the siteâs owners âbroke down within about the last week when I requested a withdrawalâ â Barton being told that:
âPayPal wasnât working but they were going to mail me a checkâ.
It wasnât until a friend told Barton that another affiliate hadnât been paid either that alarm bells started ringing, a call home confirming the check hadnât arrived, Barton stating that:
âThey owe me over 4 grand and I donât anticipate that Iâm going to get thatâ.
On Twitter, the 64spades site describes itself as âa new and growing poker site that strives to provide our players with a safe and fun atmosphere to play onâ.
64spades.com was mentioned a few months back when another online poker site, JaoPoker, shut its doors amid Ponzi Scheme claims.
An email shared by Todd Wittelesâ alter-ego âDan Druffâ on his PokerFrudAlert forum, apparently from Jao Poker staff, reading:
"We are sad to tell you all Jao Poker has closed. If we have any update on JaoPoker and members poker balances we will let you know in the communitypokerchat. We are currently moving games to 64spades.com."
PokerTube have contacted 64spades.com for comment on Bartonâs allegations.
