Partypoker has revealed its new loyalty program that begins on March 1 and is designed to allow casual players to reach VIP levels quite a bit easier.

Following an industry trend of the last few years that caters to recreational players, those who don't put in massive amounts of time on the virtual felt can reap the most rewards under the 2.0 scheme. The Partypoker website describes the revamped VIP system as one that "gives you straight-up return on your play with simple choices for redeeming points."

The number of player points required to reach higher VIP tiers has been toned down considerably. While all players begin at the Bronze level, the Silver level that previously required 400 monthly points now calls for only 50.

Stepping up to the Gold loyalty tier necessitates a monthly point total of 750, whereas that milestone had been 1,000 points. Reaching the coveted Palladium level has been modified to require 2,000 points per month, and used to be set at 9,000 player points per quarter.

In addition to decreasing point requirements, the Partypoker points store has been restocked, filled "with cheaper and better rewards." Players will find cashback rewards at the rate of 22.22%. That includes the ability to use player points to enter Weekly Loyalty Tourneys that are restricted to players at the same loyalty level.

When March 1 arrives, Partypoker will celebrate its VIP 2.0 launch with a $500,000 guaranteed tournament. A Freeway to $500K promo is now underway that awards free seats to the massive event. Players can earn points through February 28 and win tickets to four Freeway to $500K finals also held on March 1.

From March 1-8, a Loyalty Launcher promo allows players of all levels to score extra cash. The benefits increase with each VIP level and allow top tier players to earn up to 50% more in points - resulting in more bonus cash.

The amount of points that players earn in February determines the VIP level that players will be placed in on March 1 under the new loyalty program. In other words, a February point total of 50 is good for Silver Status, and 750 will land players in the Gold tier. Palladium players need to earn 2,000 points this month.

Players are advised to check the Partypoker Loyalty page on March 1 for all the updated information. Also, to be ready on that date for the birth of the Partypoker 2.0 VIP program that provides greater rewards! Click here for more information.
