Pauli Leads Tightly Packed Final Table, Two Looking for Second Title in London

Final table of eight has been set in EPT11 London Main Event. It wasn't as short of a day as we expected, but considering the stakes, it is a small wonder. The field of sixteen has been cut in half and the luckier half will return tomorrow to compete for the EPT title.
Two of the returning players have been here before – and succeeded – those two being Jake Cody and Kevin MacPhee. Cody explained after the game was done for the day that he feels that him being there before gives him a big advantage over less experienced players who will feel a lot of pressure.
As for MacPhee, the Berlin winner was much more moderate in his statements for PokerStars Blog and simply said he will just be trying not to screw up. Pablo Gordillo, who is only playing his second EPT is making a second final table already. This time he will, naturally, try to go all the way, but will have an uphill battle as he is coming back the short stack and the only one under a million in chips.
The man returning with by far the biggest stack is German Sebastian Pauli, sitting on 6,130,000 chips. Players sitting in places 2 through 6 are all around 2 million in chips with almost nothing to separate them. Apart from the afore mentioned, these are the Frenchman Jonathan Bensadoun, German Artur Koren and Irishman Kevin Killeen. Polish player Jakub Mroczek is on 1,325,000, which puts him in seventh spot.
The one who almost made it
Benny Spindler started the penultimate day as the shortest stack by far. However, he was able to spin it up and get right back into the game, only to be eliminated on the very final table bubble in a cooler hand.

— Jake Cody (@JakeCody) October 17, 2014 Too bad as it would be super exciting to have three former winners at the same final table.
The play will start tomorrow at 1 PM UK time but we’ll be kept in the dark until the 2 PM when the official coverage begins. PokerTube will keep a close eye on how the things go down at this epic final table as they battle it out for the EPT11 London Main Event champion title and the first place of £499,700.
All players who made it to the final table are guaranteed the minimum payout of £51,900.
