PokerTube Weekly: Baggers59 Showing Class, Run for Caribbean Underway

Another week of PokerTube fun is gone (rhyme is accidental) but only to be substituted with even more excitement in the following period. Some of our promotions have come to an end for the time being, but it won’t be long before they are launched again, perhaps in somewhat different shape and form.

Last Play Stations and iPads Given Out on William Hill

Well, last for now at least, but I am sure good folks over at Willy Hill will be back soon with another one of their awesome promos. The latest Play Station 4 and iPad Mini winners are PT members 0flushgordon and 1Oblivion who topped the September leaderboard. Congrats and enjoy it guys!

Ladbrokes League Comes to an End – Baggers59 a Real Class Act

We’ve also found our winners in the Ladbrokes Super League, but not before just a little bit of controversy. Namely, the league was scheduled to run for eight weeks, but tournaments continued after that and it was not made clear if these tournaments would count towards the final leaderboard as well.

During these added tournament, one of the old PokerTube members, with the account dating back to ’09, Baggers59 made a considerable move from fourth to first place, which would guarantee him €300. No one else was really complaining about it, but Baggers came to the forum to state that it wasn’t fair to the people who believed that the league was scheduled to run only eight weeks.

If I were one of the 3 people who thought they'd already won a prize after the 8 weeks was up and then found out the rules had changed and I'd actually won €100 less, I would be pretty annoyed. I would very much like to have €300 but not if it comes at the expense of those 3 players. Baggers59;
After this and few other posts, it was agreed that only eight weeks would count towards the league, which meant that Baggers59 finished in 4th position, winning €0, but he truly showed some class here.
I made a decent profit just from the added value so it's all good.
Huge props for this! Very few would go out of their way to actually hurt themselves financially just to keep everything on up and up.

Punta Cana Special Tournaments on Betfair
We’ve talked about this a lot but we will continue talking about it some more – simply because it is such an awesome promotion! Boyle Wednesdays and Everest Sundays Continue
The Boyle Heads Up League on Wednesday nights continue as always, and man topping that one is no other than Baggers59 (playing under the alias Baggers17). He is sharing the top spot with DaBoyToker, as they both have 12 points each, while three players have ten points and are trying to catch up. It will be a close one! As for Baggers, the man said it himself – he can’t resist good free money offer.

As for the Everest Sunday League, things have been going really strong there, as people are fighting for the €100 added in every tournament and the $1,000 that will be shared between the winners at the end of the league. Currently leading the way is Grypiusha with 22 points, followed closely by PixaMole on 21.
