PokerTube Weekly: We are Back!

16 Sep
After a shorter break (we have valid excuses… erm reasons), we are back with PokerTube Weekly bringing you the latest news exclusive to Poker Tube, covering all sorts of promotions, competitions, prizes and more. Here’s what we have missed…
William Hill Monday League Awards another Play Station
That’s right – one more PokerTuber has become a proud owner of brand new Play Station 4 – an accessory that no household should do without. Sony Play Station 4 has cool features enabling you to access video and music files, internet connection, microwave oven with solar timer (not sure where I read that last one, but it must be true, it was online).
The guy who did it in August is ‘Minor15’ who gathered 35 points from four tournaments to top the leaderboard and take home the first prize, in addition to all the added money he won along the way. Second place finisher ‘eirwess’ was eight points short so he will have to be satisfied with just an iPad Mini.
Willy Hill league continues in September as well, with the unchanged prize structure – so there is another Play Station awaiting most skillful (luckiest?) PokerTuber. In addition to all this, there is special First Depositors Freeroll exclusive to Poker Tube members with new accounts on September 29th, and it’s not a small one as players will get to share €1,000! Very nice prize pool is made even nicer by the fact that this one is going to probably quite small in terms of number of players so this is like the great time to get an account if you don’t already have one (use promo code PTWH when signing up).
Ladbrokes Super Tuesdays
Super League on Ladbrokes has been going on for two months now but for whatever reason it did not pick up too many runners. The fields have usually been <30 players and with €150 added to the prize pool every time these tournament simply offer great bang for the buck.
We will continue running these Tuesday tournaments all the way through September so if you want some easy money go ahead and sign up with Ladbrokes poker, you will not regret it. Use promotional code ‘TUBE’ when signing up, and you will be set to go and eligible for these and all future Poker Tube tournaments which, I am sure, will not be lacking.
Both William Hill and Ladbrokes tournaments are streamed live on Poker Tube and recorded for later viewing pleasure as well, so you really get a lot for a small investment: great value, lot of fun and, occasionally – your five minutes of fame!
Head-Up with Boyle
Wednesday night on Poker Tube is reserved for the heads up league on Boyle Poker (no it has nothing to do with Doyle, or does it?). Introduced couple weeks back to create something new and break the monotony of full table tournaments, the Heads Up league has picked up some traction.
Although these tournaments do not have added prizes, there is a sweet pot at the end of the rainbow for those with hardest heads, as they will get to share a €1,000 pool, with half of that going to the winner. Although we are couple weeks in, current leader ‘doccerre’ only has 8 points and win is worth four, so plenty of time to catch up.
If you are looking for a change of pace, some good banter and, of course, free money then Boyle poker is place to be on Wednesday nights. These tourneys are also ‘televised’ sometimes, but it greatly depends on the mood of our ‘TV guy’ Rory. Let’s say like 40% of the time it happens 100%.
Thursdays with Yachting
Yachting is one of those smaller rooms that you often miss but that actually offers great value for money because quality of play is of much lower standard. They have offered a nice promotion for Poker Tube players and we were happy to accommodate.
Every Thursday night there is a €250 guaranteed tournament taking place and fields have been rather small, so once again this is a great opportunity to get some extra spending cash or start a bankroll on a poker room where play is much, much different. Give it a shot and you may start crushing as well – playing against tough competition gets old!
And Last – but Not the Least – Everest Sunday
There’s been a wee while since we last run exclusive tournaments on Everest, but since a few weeks ago, they are back, taking place every Sunday at 20:00 GMT and featuring €100 added to the prize pool. In addition to this, this deep stack league also features the prize pool of $1,000 to be distributed amongst top three places!
We are only two tournaments in, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action in time, as one win will get you very high on the leaderboard and then it’s about fine tuning.
So there you have it – plenty of tournaments for everybody’s taste and almost every day of the week, so all of our dear PokerTuber’s can have at least one day of great poker fun with the rest of the crowd. We are still not certain what the future brings, but there are some cool promotions coming up soon – and I am sure you will not be disappointed with what we’ve got in store for you!
