It was an exciting day in London as plenty of greats have taken their seats and many of them were shown the door along the way. 368 players made it through to the Day 2 and another ten took their option to register late before the day started. Of this number, only 130 remains standing.

Today was that one of the few big days for every multi-day tournament – a day when the prize-pool is determined, and it was by no means a small one. 675 players ponied up their buy-ins bringing the total to £2,619,000. Of that amount, whooping £499,700 is reserved for the winner.

Tomorrow will be yet another big day, as bubble is looming. 95 players of the remaining 130 will be making the minimum of £7,750 while everybody making the nine-handed final table will earn the minimum of £41,100.

One man who will not have to sweat the bubble too much is Raffaele Sorrention. The Italian bagged 419,500, making him a chipleader to start the day tomorrow. His gaze will, no doubt, wander much further, towards the final table and the beautiful EPT trophy. However, this dream will be made difficult to achieve by other 129 players and particularly the likes of David Carbera, Anatoly Filatov, PokerStars Pros Johnny Lodden and Jake Cody, always tough Benny Spindler, online crusher Chris Moorman, Sam Trickett and numerous others with years and decades of poker experience under their belts.

Of course, many had to fall before the last river was dealt, and some of those who were just not favored by the Fortune include Shannon Shorr, Mikhail Shalamov, Ludovic Riehl, Ryan Spittles, Ole Schemion and the local player Victoria Coren who was looking to become the first three-time EPT winner, but will have to wait at least a little bit more for that.

There will be no shortage of beautiful ladies in the field, however, as both Liv Boeree and Fatima Moreira de Melo bagged a stack to return to tomorrow.

The action from London continues tomorrow and we will have some more interviews for you to enjoy, which can all be found on our video pages and, of course, on our live updates page. The EPT11 London Main Event continues and it is getting ever closer to the final table, scheduled to take place on Saturday. Stay with PokerTube and enjoy the London experience the best way possible from the comfort of your homes.
