Co-writer Brian Koppelman of the cult poker film "Rounders" had a bit of fun with fans of the movie by declaring that he was ready to reveal the hole cards of Teddy KBG (John Malkovich) in his epic heads-up battle versus Mike McDermott (Matt Damon).

You know, the final hand scene where Mike flops a straight and checks on every street, trapping Teddy into betting and then taking all his money. In case your memory is a bit foggy, watch the video here:

There has been many a discussion on online poker forums as to what Teddy may have been holding. Here's a sample of some of the comments from 2+2 posters.

"i thought he had two pair??" stated 'penguinabc123.'
"Anybody that doesn't know he had AA should probably never ever play poker," 'Grumpy' opined.
"he has top set 10s," said 'surfinillini.'

Pocket tens was a popular choice among many forumites, with some claiming that if you slow down the video, Teddy can be seen throwing two black tens. But that has never been confirmed.

In any event, Koppelman is well aware that fans of the movie have often wondered and debated what Teddy's hole cards were. Combine that with the fact that Twitter recently expanded the amount of characters that account holders can use in their tweets and Koppelman decided to use that social media platform to disclose what diehard poker fans have wanted to know for almost two decades - Teddy's hand.

Are you ready to know the answer? Here is Koppelman's tweet:

Oops, looks like Koppelman reached the character limit. What a tease!

The debate continues. It's a good bet that Teddy's hole cards will never be revealed, which is how the writers apparently want it, and how it should be.

Poker players and fans are still clamoring for a Rounders 2. The original movie was released in 1998.
