We have become somewhat accustomed to Milestone Hands promotions from PokerStars, but there is now another room following in those footsteps. Unibethas announced that they will be celebrating 100 million hands dealt with their own Milestone Hands Promo.

Unibet became an independent room earlier this year, cutting ties with Microgaming and embarking on their own path. Their business model quite differs from anything present in the market today, as they are primarily targeting recreational players looking to have fun. The approach has been serving them well so far, as the room went from strength-to-strength during 2014.

The promotion will award more than 600 cash prizes over a span of 101 hands during a period from the last week of November until Christmas. The festivities will start with the 95 millionth hand and will last until the 105 millionth hand is dealt. Players will receive prizes every 100,000th hand, with participants of millionth hands receiving even bigger prizes.

The big one, the 100 millionth hand, could potentially be worth up to €1 million to the winner depending on the strength of their hand.

Rules & Multipliers

There is a base amount for every Milestone Hand, depending on the hand number and especially on whether the hand belongs to the ‘millionth’ category. The full list of amounts available to be won for every hand can be found on the Unibet promo page, but the amounts vary between $100 all the way up to $10,000 for the 100 millionth hand.

The base amount is then increased by the multiplier, which depends on the stake played (from 0.25 to 6) and the number of flops seen per table during the last 60 minutes (ranging from 0.4 to 1.25). These two amounts are multiplied to find the final number with which the base amount will be multiplied.

On the 100 millionth hand, there is a special prize on top of the standard prize (which can range from €1,000 to €75,000, depending on the multipliers explained above). Depending on the strength of the winning hand, a player can earn an extra €1,000,000. For that prize, you would have to actually win with a Royal Flush, but the option is there. A Full House, for example, will award an extra €25,000.

Unibet is really coming on strong to celebrate the end of their first year as a standalone poker room. We also have some great exclusive tournaments running on Unibet where you can win a lot of additional money, as well as an iPhone 6 or PlayStation 4. The first tournament takes place tonight, so make sure not to miss out!
