A home game in Worcester, England almost turned deadly after a player left in frustration and returned with a loaded handgun.

Police were called to a Loudon Street apartment at around 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 4th in Worcester after earlier that morning, around 5:30 AM a man entered the flat with a handgun and robbed the 8 people present there, the local newspaper This Week in Worcester reports.

Before committing the crime, the suspect, 32-year-old local man Tyshawn Dudley took part in a private poker game with his 8 friends turned robbery victims, but something made him upset at the card table and left. He returned with a loaded handgun that he discharged in the apartment - he aimed at a wall for intimidation, so luckily nobody got hurt. He demanded the others hand all their money over to him with which the other players in the home game complied.

After arriving at the scene, the police released Dudley’s vehicle information to the public, looking for tips from the 100,000 citizens of the small city of Worcester in the middle of England. The car, an Infiniti was eventually found parking in front of the suspect’s apartment at Constitution Avenue. The officers raided the apartment and found large amounts of cash - presumably what he took from the other players - and his .45 pistol with a loaded magazine.

Dudley faces a long list of charges that can get him behind bars for a long time: 5 counts of Armed Robbery, Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm, Unlawfully Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a Dwelling. His trial is due next Monday in Central District Court.

This will hardly top the most famous case of rage at a poker table in terms of attention, however. The footage of a player attacking his opponent after losing a large pot to him at the Harrah's New Orleans Poker Room has been viewed over a million times on YouTube.
