The action at the high stakes tables continued right where it left off last week. 'SanIker' continued his winning ways on Monday, earning just short of $400,000. It was a long day for the German pro as he spent about twenty hours at the tables.

The majority of action took place at the Full Tilt 2-7 TD tables against the likes of Phil ‘Polarizing’ Ivey, Cort ‘thecortster’ Kibler-Melby, ‘Kagome Kagome’ and other usual suspects. According to HighStakesDB, there were no other six-figure winners on Tuesday, at least not on a single site. Luke Schwartz did eclipse the $100k mark playing on both Full Tilt and PokerStars.

The start of the week was good for players hailing from Germany, as ‘bbvisbadforme’ booked a $196k day. The game was again 2-7 Triple Draw at the $2k/$4k limits and those making contributions toward the German’s profit were once again ‘Polarizing’, ‘thecortster’ and Gus Hansen, who has finally resurfaced.

Hansen simply disappeared right about the time it was announced he was no longer sponsored by Full Tilt and he hasn’t been seen on the nosebleed tables until Tuesday. His reappearance did not start on a good note, however, as Gus ended up about $50,000 in the hole.

Wednesday was a somewhat slow day, but the action picked up on Thursday. Hansen was back at it, playing against ‘SanIker,’ 'Trueteller,' and Patrik ‘FinddaGrind’ Antonius. Although things did not start so well for The Great Dane, he was able to bring his losses back to ‘just’ $82k after five hours of play. However, by that time Gus was already winning big on a different table against ‘SanIker,’ making a profit of $202k.

Another interesting match of the day was played between Patrik ‘FinddaGrind’ Antonius and ‘patriktortonius.’ The fun duo met at the mixed games tables. Things went the other Patrik’s way, as Antonius ended up losing $142,000.

Sunday was marked by a confrontation between ‘thecortster’ and ‘SanIker.’ Playing at two $2k/$4k 2-7 TD tables, their heads-up matches ended with ‘SanIker’ walking away a big winner, with a profit of $290k. ‘EireAbu,’ who resurfaced after a long period of inactivity, was the next biggest winner with $122k to the good. His winnings came from the tables at PokerStars where he faced ‘Ilari FIN’ and ‘N Channing,’ as well as Ben ‘Sauce123’ Sulsky.

Yesterday (Monday), ‘SanIker’ and ‘thecortster’ were back at it, and this time it was Kibler-Melby who bested his German opponent and took him for $325k. Two more players were six-figure winners for the day; ‘AthaCliath’ with earnings of $147,800, and ‘bajskorven,’ who's payday amounted to $105k.

Who’s up and who’s down?

Since it’s been so long, let's first take a look at Gus Hansen. The first week after his return was, in the end, a profitable one, as The Great Dane earned $56,500.

‘SanIker’ had what can be called a decent run, as he ended this seven-day period with a profit of $247k. On the other hand, his favorite opponent, ‘thecortster,’ did not share the same fortune, as his score for the week was well below the red line - $441,330 to be exact.

Phil ‘Polarizing’ Ivey did not fare much better either, as he was down $289k during the past week, booking another losing period after going strong for a couple weeks prior to that.

‘EireAbu’ continued his successful return to the high stakes action, booking a week that was just shy of a six-figure gain.

Patrik Antonius lost about $150k to his counterpart, ‘patriktortonius,’ and that was all we saw of him the past week. As for ‘patriktortonius,’ he put in some more volume and ended the seven-day period with a profit of $216k.
