With a lot happening on the live tournament circuit, between Aussie Millions, EPT Deauville and couple other events, the action at the nosebleeds tables during the past week was somewhat slow. Although it was far from a perfect scenario for the railbirds, such is life, and it is our job to keep track of the action, even when it is scarce.

The first significant action that took place at the nosebleeds, as reported by the HighStakesDB, went down on Sunday. The majority of action took place on PokerStars, as the room is becoming and more the venue of choice for the high stakes online players.

Rami ‘arbianight’ Boukai topped the winners’ list with the profit of $126k, the majority of which came from the mixed games action. However, the first $38k, as reported by the HighStakesDB, did come from the 2-7 TD tables. Second place on the leaderboard belonged to ‘Trueteller’ who clocked out with the profit of $106k.

‘Trueteller’s’ profit came from the Full Tilt’s 2-7 games against his favorite opponent Cort ‘thecortster’ Kibler-Melby, as their rivalry on the virtual felt continued.

‘Trueteller’ continued to amass profit on Monday, as once again he was on the top of the winners’ list, this time with the profit of $240k according to HighStakesDB. Once again, ‘thecortster’ played the part of the unwilling donor as the two squared off at the $2k/$4k 2-7 TD tables.

The German was the only six-figure winner of the day, as the second place ‘arbianight’ netted ‘only’ $71.5k. Luke ‘lb6121’ Schwartz took on Ben ‘Sauce123’ Sulsky at the PokerStars TD tables and was able to come on top, with the decent profit of $62,000.

After a quiet Tuesday, players were back at it on Wednesday and once again, for the third time in a row, it was ‘Trueteller’ seizing the title of the day’s biggest winner. As the rivalry between him and ‘thecortster’ continued, the German high stakes pro was able to add another $170k to his bankroll according to the HighStakesDB. Player going under an alias ‘JayP-AA’ was the second biggest winner of the day, with the profit just couple of hundreds shy of $90k.

And it’s a wrap

Sadly, that’s all the action to report for the past week. Hopefully, the games will pick up once again when players have more free time on their hands, as not many of them are ready to hop into the games after grinding a live tournament for 8+ hours.

German high stakes pro ‘Trueteller’ is the biggest winner for the past seven days by far. With the great majority of his profit coming from the matches against Cort ‘thecortster’ Kibler-Melby, ‘Trueteller’ made the profit of $829k according to HighStakesDB.

Rami ‘arbianight’ Boukai was the second biggest winner of the week, with the profit of $156,000. MMA fighter turned poker pro, Boukai was able to do well for himself thus far in the career, and it will be interesting to see if he sticks around the nosebleeds games.

On the other side of the spectrum, ‘thecortster’ takes the unflattering title of the week’s biggest loser. With the deficit of $824,000, as reported by the HighStakesDB, Kibler-Melby may consider looking for a softer opponent.

Luke ‘lb6121’ Schwartz also ended the week on the losing note. Despite of his successful session against ‘Sauce123’, Schwartz finishes the week stuck $76k.
