WPN Adds $80K to "The Beast" in January

The new year is getting off to a roaring start at the Winning Poker Network (WPN) as the ante was upped on the popular "The Beast" weekly leaderboard race.

The network -- featuring the top skins of Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker -- kicked in $80,000 in prize money for the month of January. That total is broken down into an additional $20,000 each week that will land in the accounts of players.

"The Beast Roars" is the mantra over at WPN this month, with the added prize money starting for the week that begins on Saturday, January 3 and running through the 9th. The races that follow for the duration of the month continue on Jan. 10-16, 17-23, and 24-31.

The $20K each week will find its way to the top 20 players at $1,000 a piece. Certainly an awesome way to begin 2015 for players the world over, including the U.S. WPN is known for speedy cashouts and its attentiveness to customer service.

The Beast requires no opting in or special entry. Just play poker at WPN and your participation and ranking on the leaderboard is automatically tracked for you.
