Rulah Divine looking to be riding the crest of a wave right now. Only two years back he satted into a $1,000 NL event at the World Series of Poker for a paltry $60. A day later and he had brushed aside the rest of the 1,750 strong field winning $262,501 and a coveted gold bracelet.

Fast forward to today and Divine is now celebrating the release of his new hip hop track Eye of the Grinder. The poker themed rap single has been picking up a lot of great reviews online and looks as if it has met all Divine’s expectations.

After being married for 18 years, and bringing up twins, it’s understandable why one of Divine’s passions fell by the wayside over the years. Now though, it looks as if everything has fallen into place nicely both on the music and poker side.

“My wife and I were heavily involved in music in our 20s,” Divine said. “We actually put out an album under our name Revolutionary Alien. I am a hip-hop fanatic and practiced being an Emcee just about as much I did poker. I lived my whole life grinding toward a break in whichever one came first.”

There are also plans being made to record a video at this year’s WSOP to accompany the track. Talks are progressing with the Rio right now, and Divine has even put out an invitation for any pros who like the song to come down for filming.
