YouTube Q&A With Jeff Boski

What do you do for a living?â âCRUSH!â
As answers go itâs a pretty good one, and YouTube vlogger Jeff Boski shares a number of amusing and interesting nuggets about his life in his latest effort â a Q&A which has been a long time coming for fans of the poker pro from the Detroit suburbs with the Southern drawl!
âDo you have a girlfriend?â asks one nosey follower of the MTT crusher, to which â stoney-face and eyebrows-raised Boski replies deadpan:
"No. No. No. I canât afford a girlfriendâŚphysically, mentally, financiallyâŚnot yet!â
The former call-centre sales team supervisor only turned his hand to poker-vlogging quite recently, but has already made a mark with his trademark humorous and enlightening approach to casino tournament life. So much so that he has an important announcement to make â but not in this vlog, youâll have to wait a few days for that exclusive!
Back to his Q&A, Jeff explains his poker beginnings: âA lot of my friends were playing poker, some doing very well, so I decided to give it a try,â says the big man who dropped out of University of Michigan after two and a half years to pursue other things in life.
Starting out online back in the day Boski tells us, he was making $100 a day playing $0.25/0.50 cash games on Party Poker, before following a friendâs $11K MTT success online and giving the tournament scene a go â soon rising up the stakes and getting backed for bigger events.
The graph he displays of his âsick heaterâ in 2009 is enough to make any poker-pro wannabe jealous, but Boskiâs approach to YouTube vlogging doesnât inspire such feelings at all â a genuinely nice guy sharing his enjoyment of the poker life with fellow players.
He covers a lot more in his revealing 15 minute session, but it wouldnât make sense if I told you everything here â and then pointed you to his vlog! Instead, have a listen to the big man yourself, I doubt youâll be disappointed.
In any event, youâll likely be hearing a lot more about pokerâs fastest-rising vlogger on PokerTubeâs pages over the coming weeks and months â after all, how to CRUSH poker for a living is something we all want to hear about isnât it?
