One of the best known tournament series in online poker environment, Full Tilt Series of Poker, started on Sunday, and five events have already been concluded, meaning that quite a few players padded their pockets with some nice cash.

The event that got things underway was $215 reentry NLHE tournament, and it gathered total of 1,908 entries, shattering the guaranteed prize pool of $300K for over $80,000. The player standing tall after hours of play was RushAAKKandQQ, who won $72,504 for navigating the huge field and claiming all the chips. Falling just short was the runner-up BIG_BOB_KING who earned $50,256 for his efforts.

Event #2 got underway, but it being a tournament with multiple day-one flights, things are only heating up. Days 1A, B and C gathered total of 1,072 players, and with numerous starting days still to go, it is looking good to shater the guaranteed $200,000 prize pool, especially considering the fact that we can probably expect greater number of entries to later flights.

HORSE event with the buyin of $215 saw 166 players take their seats and overcome somewhat conservative guarantee of $25,000. First place of $9,130 in that one went to ptweedsdro who defeated Reeble Stripe in the final confrontation. Runner-up finish was worth $6,108.

Event #4 had $75,000 guaranteed prize pool, but as it was $215 Rush Turbo event it generated quite an interest. 417 players generated a pool of $83,400 and the first prize of $16,816. That was claimed by player Tedson, but he still got less than a second place finisher Lisadoe who earned $17,770 as a result of the deal the two made.

$215 Limit Hold’em event title was claimed by the online legend Chris Moorman, who plays on Full Tilt under the alias MoormanI. He topped the field of 137 players, eventually defeating canofcorn22 in the heads up to claim the title and the first place of $6,202. It may not be the big money for Moorman, whose online totals well exceed $11 million, but he’ll be happy to get a gold jersey to add to his collection.

Finally, Event #6 was $320 Super Knockout with $100,000 guarantee gathering 404 players. The first place of $26,260 in that one went to cosonic1 whose last bounty was that of Stenkrigarn who earned $16,281 for his second place finish.

FTOPS XXVI is heating up nicely and some of the biggest events are still to come, so we will definitely be seeing some six-figure scores before the Series runs its course!
