Leaked E-mail Correspondence Implies Poker Princess is Sleeping with Aaron Sorkin

Leaked e-mail correspondence between Amy Pascal and other movie studio executives imply that Princess of Poker Molly Bloom could be having a romantic affiliation to one of the most powerful writers in the movie industry Aaron Sorkin.

Amy Pascal, Sony Chairman, was discussing Aaron and his decision to adapt the book Molly’s game (written by Molly Bloom) with other studio executives in the correspondence. The book is about Molly’s experiences in the poker world where she was known as the host of the illegal high stakes poker games for Hollywood stars and it seems that Aaron had a good reason to refuse adaptation of Flash Boys by Michael Lewis and work on Molly’s Game book.

His decision made Amy Pascal, the head of the company, very angry and e-mails sent to other studio executives were quite dramatic.

After Sorkin refused to adapt Flash Boys, the task he was apparently paid for, Amy wrote an email to Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group together with Michal De Luca and Hannah Minghella.

In another set of leaked emails ,Amy Pascal and producer Scoot Rudin were discussing Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie and insulting her acting talent by calling her “untalented spoiled brat”. Apparently Amy had a lot more to say and to joke about because she mentioned The President Barrack Obama’s favorite movies in the conversation. Pascal was wondering what the President’s favorite movie is and listed some of the popular movies like '12 Years a Slave', 'The Butler' - the movies that featured African-Americans prominently.

Amy showed remorse for the content of the leaked e-mails, claiming she was deeply sorry for the insensitive and not so funny joke about Barrack Obama.

Even though Aaron Sorkin, Oscar winning screenwriter, was mentioned in Amy Pascal’s emails in not-so-friendly voice, he sent a support her way, stating that she is a woman who built her career from an assistant to the Chairman of the company on her own. According to Aaron, Amy regrets that she wrote all those things and she is the kind of women who would never hurt someone on purpose.

It’s unknown when we are going to see the film version of 'Molly’s Game', the screen adaptation based on the book about Molly’s adventures in the world of underground poker.
