While there was some interesting action at the high stakes tables last week, perhaps the most interesting event was the appearance of ‘RugDoctor,' a man whom many believe to be David Williams and who hasn’t been active at the online high stakes until just recently.

Last week started with a Sunday clash between a well-known regular, German pro ‘Trueteller,' and ‘CoeJassidy.' They took it to the 8-game tables at Full Tilt and after just 93 hands ‘Trueteller’ was up $112k, according to HighStakesDB. After a short break, the duo jumped back into action and after 115 hands, the German pro added another $96.6k to his daily winninings, ending the day with a $208.6k profit. The only other big winner for the day was Vladimir ‘GVOZDIKA55’ Shchemelev, who ended the day $92.7k richer.

Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom had a rough weekend playing against ‘RugDoctor,' dropping nearly $340k to Williams. He was able to make somewhat of a comeback on Monday, booking a win just shy of $260k. His day started with a $50k HU win over ‘Zugwat’ at the 2-7 tables, after which he moved on to tangle with Williams again. The two played for over eight hours across different tables, and Blom was able to get some of his losses back.

Another player had a very good Monday, and his name is well-known to those following these high stakes reports. Alexander ‘joiso’ Kostritsyn turned a profit of $220k playing $1k/$2k 2-7 TD heads-up against none other than ‘EireAbu,' PokerStars biggest winner for 2014.

Tuesday was marked primarily by the clash between ‘Trueteller’ and Cort ‘thecortster’ Kibler-Melby, as the duo competed on the $2k/$4k 2-7 Triple Draw tables. In three hours of play, the two exchanged leads with ‘thecortster’ being up a cozy $240k at one point. However, the German pro was able to turn things around and by the time they called it a day he was up $199k.

On another front, ‘Patriktortonius’ took on ‘Isildur1’ (‘FinddaGrind’ was probably not available) and things did not go well for Blom. The Swede dropped $152k at the 8-game tables. Over on PokerStars, ‘joiso’ booked a $129k profit playing mostly 2-7 TD games, while ‘Ilari FIN’ also had a decent day, adding $95k to his roll.

Coming just short of a six-figure day, Ilari ‘Ilari FIN’ Sahamies continued right where he left off and Wednesday saw him pick another $158.5k from the tables. Playing $200/$400 PLO on PokerStars, Sahamies held his own against the likes of ‘Sauce123,’ ‘Isildur1,’ ‘joiso,’ ‘AckmaJin’ and others, finishing the day with another nice addition to his bankroll.

The final big day included in this report was Saturday and, once again, it was ‘Trueteller’ topping the winners’ leaderboard. He and ‘thecortster’ clashed at the 2-7 tables again and the German player was the one taking home the spoils to the tune of $157.4k. Add to that another $18k and change from the other tables and ‘Trueteller’ ended the day up $180,600. Another big winner for the day was ‘asianflushie,' who took on Daniel ‘w00ki3z’ Cates over on PokerStars and after a 3-hour battle at $50/$100 PLO, he ended with a $97k profit.

Green, I see green everywhere…

After having some troubles lately, Alex ‘joiso’ Kostritsyn is back to his winning ways and he tops the winners’ list for the past week with a profit of $545,000. Following him was Ilari ‘Ilari FIN’ Sahamies, whose week ended with $273k to the good, while Vladimir ‘GVOZDIKA55’ Shchemelev also had a good seven-day stretch, adding $174k to his roll.

On the other side of the spectrum are Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, who dropped $205,000, and ‘Trueteller,' who ended up stuck $187k despite his winning sessions against 'thecortster'. 'Kibler-Melby' was also one of the week's big losers, leaving $273k behind at the tables.

Two fan favorites, Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen, were nowhere to be seen. ‘Polarizing’ is probably busy crushing live games somewhere while Gus is apparently taking some time off to focus on bridge.
