Past week did not see too much action at the nosebleeds, which must have been disappointing for numerous railbirds, but there were still enough big pots flying around to keep us all entertained. According to HighStakesDB, the first big exchange of funds last week took place on Monday.

The day would see the return of the last year's biggest winner Niklas 'ragen70' Heinecker who sat the German 'SanIker' at the 2-7 TD tables. 'SanIker' was coming on the heels of his comeback against 'thecortster' whom he played earlier in the day. However, his good run would not continue against Heinecker. Despite of putting in a valiant effort, the German pro would leave the match surrendering $200K.

Big game trend also continued at PokerStars, where 'steamraise' made the profit of nearly $165K according to HighStakesDB. His profit came from the $50/$100 PLO table at the expense of 'PimpyLimpy' who was clearly not having a good day.

'ragen70' continued his winning ways on Tuesday as he had, once again, face his fellow countryman 'SanIker'. Once again, 'SanIker' started off strong, making a six figure advantage during the first half hour of the play, but Heinecker wasn't fazed. His run came during the last part of the session where he was able to make up the losses and come out a $104K winner. Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom also mastered a profit of $63K and change playing against 'bbvisbadforme'.

Next couple days were quite, as HighStakesDB had nothing significant to report on and the fans of fast-paced action and six-figure pots were left wanting. The action did not pick up until Sunday when Viktor Blom mastered a profit of $115,000 coming from the combined action on both his 'native' site Full Tilt and PokerStars. Full Tilt profit came from his 2-7 games against 'SanIker' who definitely was not having a fun seven-day stretch. Alexander Kostritsyn, who plays under the alias 'joiso' on PokerStars also made a decent profit of $85.6K playing at the mixed games tables.

Finally, Monday saw Blom making a real breakthrough booking a profit of $592K. Once again, 'SanIker' was playing the role of the donor as he dropped $289K to 'Isildur1' over the four sessions of 2-7 Triple Draw heads-up confrontations. The remainder of profit came from the likes of 'thecortster', 'taktloss47' and 'Carloooo13'.

Alexander 'PostflopAction' Kostritsyn came out with the $184K profit according to HighStakesDB after beating Phil ‘Polarazing’ Ivey out of $147K and with the rest of it coming from ‘Isildur1’. Interestingly enough, Ivey, who is fighting his ‘edge sorting’ case in London, found some time for a quick session! Doug ‘WCGRider’ Polk also booked a win to the tune of $93.6K after taking on ‘bajskorven’ at the $50/$100 NLHE HU tables.

Although the action has been somewhat quiet last seven days, decent percentage of overall highstakes action took place over on PokerStars. This latest trend may just be a coincidence, but it can also mean that the Stars might gradually become a new home of the nosebleeds action with all the changes that have been taking place on Full Tilt recently. The time will tell.

But How Much Did You Lose?

Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom easily had the best week, as he ended up with the profit of $586K as reported by HighStakesDB. It is again a step in right direction for the Swede, but we’ll see if he can keep it going and bring the graph back into the profitville zone.

Niklas 'ragen70' Heinecker started his comeback in the right way, as the HighStakesDB has him on $304K profit for the past week. We are looking forward to seeing more of the German at the highstakes tables in the future.

Alexander Kostritsyn continued his winning ways, making a profit of $400K across the PokerStars and Full Tilt. Young Russian seems almost unbeatable at the tables at this point, but as we all know, a downswing could be lurking just around the corner.

It was a tough week for ‘SanIker’ who dropped $600,000 at the tables and his lifetime graph once again dipped below the zero. The German has been struggling lately and he is still waiting for his real upswing to bring him back to the clear.

Phil ‘Polarazing’ Ivey dropped a quick $90K at the tables, probably trying to chase away the boredom of the court proceedings. On the other hand, Doug ‘WCGRider’ Polk made the modest profit of about $38K according to HighStakesDB.
