26-year old Londoner Jack Sinclair is one of the least well-known players who made it to the 2017 final table of the Main Event, with only 3 live tournament cashes to his name, all of them in 2017.

His 161st place finish at the partypoker Millions in Nottingham in April secured him £7500 ($9,412) in the $5k buy-in event, which he followed up with two small cashes in the WSOP prior to his deep run in the Main Event.

However, his lack of experience in live play is vastly different from his online history, Sinclair sharing a flat with the likes of Philipp Gruissem and Anton Morgenstern who persuaded him to swap his online grind for a shot at Vegas and the WSOP biggie.

His deep run was a mix of being the biggest stack some days and a very tough grind others, Sinclair himself very worried when approaching the money bubble on day 3, although he finally found some good hands and then ‘went on a heater’.

Guaranteed $1million already, Sinclair enters the final table in 8th place out of 9 with a 20million chip stack, but he certainly has the game to turn that around.
