$20M GTD partypoker MILLIONS Online Returns for 2019 with Added Events

partypoker have just released the news that their record-breaking MILLIONS Online event will take place again this year – with the same $20million guarantee but a host of other tournaments running alongside it…

When the huge guarantee was announced last year, many thought it impossible to reach, but it became the single largest online poker tournament in the history of the game, handing out an eventual $21,835,000 in prize money.

Manuel Sheparentao Ruivo walked off with the golden egg, a $2,329,943.88 payday, and three of his final tablemates also became millionaires – with Pim ForMatherRussia de Goede scooping $2,309,994 following a heads-up deal.

Going through changes…

This year, there will be some big changes for the December 1-10 extravaganza – a $10,300 buy-in the first of these, which brings MILLIONS Online up to the same level as all the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Main Events on the 2019 schedule.

The $20million GTD Main Event will feature as part of a wider tournament series supported by a host of side events, and as with last year partypoker will put on a dedicated satellite program will offer players of all levels the chance to participate for a fraction of the price.

Fedor Holz aiming for the trophy

Team partypoker’s Fedor Holz may not really need the big money that will be up for grabs, but he’s still excited at the prospect of a MILLIONS Online deep run.

Fedor said of today’s announcement:

“I'm excited that partypoker are bringing back MILLIONS Online this year and the best news is they have added even more events to the schedule. Last year I outlasted my partypoker teammates but this year I'll be looking to go one better and take down the trophy!”
