888poker Launch $1,000,000 BLAST Tables

Online poker players have been having a BLAST at 888poker's lottery Sit & Go tables since the game was rolled out mid-summer and will have even more reason to play when prize pools may reach $1 million beginning December 26.

For a limited time, the four-handed SNG BLAST Poker tables featuring buy-ins of 10¢, $1, $5, $15 and $30 will be adjusted to allow for the prize pool jackpots to possibly hit $1,000,000. To date, the highest jackpot hit at BLAST has been $300,000, but that record total will be shattered more than three-fold during this blockbuster promotion at 888poker.

BLAST Poker made its debut in July and over one million hands have been dealt since then. The game is unique compared to other lottery SNGs in that four players are seated instead of three.

Another variation from run-of-the-mill jackpot SNGs at other poker sites is the BLAST Timer that expires after anywhere from six to 12 minutes depending on the buy-in amount. Once the timer reaches 00:00, the game becomes an all-in shootout with the chip stacks of remaining players shoved into the pot every hand until a winner emerges.
