A Lunch Date with Jennifer Harman on Auction for Charity

It isn't every day that you can sit down and have lunch with a Poker Hall of Famer.

The opportunity is available to the highest bidder compliments of Jennifer Harman. The two-time WSOP champion and 2015 Poker HOF inductee is donating herself in the form of a 90-minute lunch date via an auction set up by Charitybuzz.com.

Benefiting from Harman's kindness is the Lollipop Theater Network, a non-profit that supports youngsters hospitalized with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.  The organization takes on the task of traveling to various hospitals to show currently popular movies to kids who are confined and unable to get to the theatre.

Lollipop has organized more than 2,400 such events since 2001 and is endorsed by a number of Hollywood celebrities such as Jennifer Garner.

Still Time to Place Your Bid

The auction is scheduled to end on March 20. A handful of bids have rolled in thus far and the bidder in the lead has put up $5,000 to dine and talk poker with Harman at a mutually agreed upon location in Las Vegas. Charitybuzz has estimated the value of a dining experience with Jennifer at $10,000, so the eventual winner may be in store for an overlay.

The work of the Lollipop Theatre Network is likely near and dear to Harman's heart considering her own illnesses that began during childhood. Kidney disease has caused Jennifer to undergo two separate transplants over the years. Also, her mother succumbed to the illness more than three decades ago.

Harman has cashed for over $2.7 million on the tournament circuit. Her winnings at high stakes cash games may exceed that amount, as she is known as the only regular female participant in the big game action in Bobby's Room at the Bellagio.
