Jaime Staples to join Team Online on May 4th

partypoker kept us all on tenterhooks for as long as they could, but finally they announced that Jaime Staples would be joining brother Matty and a host of other TwitchTV streaming stars in their Team Online.

Koon and Kuznetsov shine at the Triton Super High Roller Series

Massive buy-ins and non-stop action was the order of the week at Triton’s SHR series stop in Jeju, South Korea last week, with Team partypoker crushers Jason Koon and Timofey Kuznetsov atop the podium.


Koon is considered the finest Short Deck Poker player in the world and underlined that title with a double takedown of the HK $1M (US$127,000) buy-in Refresh and Short Deck tournaments, worth a combined $3.8million.

Timofey ‘Trueteller’ Kuznetsov is better known as an online beast, but snagging his second live title won’t harm his reputation at all – taking down the Short Deck Special for $1,859,940.


Software update brings parity to partypoker.eu Windows client

Saving the ‘dull but important’ stuff till last, the latest partypoker software update sees French and Spanish players now able to enjoy what the rest of partypoker’s global pool have taken for granted for a while now.

The improved tournament lobby features ‘customisable felts and floors, updated player plates and a new player notes function’  which brings the .eu client in line with partypoker.com. partypoker state that further software improvements are earmarked for the coming months.
