We've reported earlier about YaAaRnY's prop bet that would see him play $5/$10 and higher PLO tables in order to try and win 100 buy-ins. Bren Lenton, aka YaAaRnY was given two-to-one odds against and put up $100K of his own money to try and win $200K of his bettors. Leading the pack in the 'against' camp was Ike 'luvtheWNBA' Haxton who took $84,500 of the total $200K amount.

Lenton was off to a really good start as he had won 35 buy-ins soon after starting and 2 + 2 thread devoted to this bet quickly filled up with supporters and teasers who were asking if those betting against were still feeling so confident about their choices.

But PLO is a volatile game as it is, and playing against probably toughest competition in the world and being under the pressure because of time constraints and curious eyes only made it more difficult for YaAaRnY. Swings started kicking in soon and Bren's graph started showing big swings, as he would go on a 40 buy-ins hiatuses in the 24-hours periods.

Apart from the 2+2 thread, the entire effort was closely followed and recorded by Joe ‘ChicagoJoey’ Ingram, who recorded sessions and published them on his YouTube channel and even did some of them live. For a period of 30 days, Lenton’s proposition gathered a lot of people from the community together. Some were rooting for him, many were against him – and many more yet were there just to see how this epic story develops and how it would finish eventually.

YaAaRnY gave all the bettors good sweat for their money. Although he was fighting some mad variance along the way, he never touched the area where people could lean back in their chairs and say – ‘it is all over now’. And then the last big sweat came!

Last update from yaaarny was 76 buyins it is going to be a fun next 2 days, i imagine action will be big tomorrow ChicagoJoey;

With just two days to go, YaAaRnY was up 76 buy-ins! With how the things have been going down at the tables, making up 24 buy-ins difference did not look that impossible at all if cards fell his way. Everybody was at the edge of their seats for the epic conclusion fitting for this epic bet.

Sadly, it just wasn’t meant to be. Although interested parties would certainly beg to differ, for us following the action, we can’t help but to root for the hero pushing the envelope! Things started going downhill for Lenton and as he was running out of time, he had to start taking risks which, again, did not go his way and when the last minute expired, the graph failed to reach 100 buyins mark.

finished on -1 gg

YaAaRnY may have failed to hit his goal, but he certainly earned the respect of community for his efforts and tremendous determination, as he took all the downswings in stride and kept playing like the boss.

gg yarny, mad respect SmokeyJ;

gg yaarny. Hope that there is some silver lining to that -1bi somehow (ie rungood at higher stakes, runbad at lower). Ballsy bet. Loctus;

gg yaarny - never thought it would be this close kelnel;

I don't care what anyone says about you yaaarny, your an ace in my book Jiinkopp;

And even with everything, YaAaRnY finished the month up – that’s why bosses gonna boss! Great run and truly valiant effort!

ended up 111k, + 55k wcoop + 40k rakeback - 100k sidebet so little over 100k
