Big Deal Casino Academy will soon become the first licensed dealer school in New York. Opening in about one week from now, Big Deal Casino Academy has a mission to create the best and most qualified dealers trained to work in New York casino industry and in the casinos that will be opening in 2015 in The Big Apple.

The new casino school is waiting for the approval from State Education Department and even though the three upstate casinos are promised in 2015, school founder Wendy Rubin said that the school is a gamble because the process of opening the casinos could last for years.

With their rich educational program Big Deal will be offering numerous of dealing instructions in casino games including poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Spanish21, Craps, Baccarat and Carnival games. For people interested in learning how to play, Big Deal is offering courses for general public, teaching students how to play poker, Roulette, Craps and there is also a game theory course for Wall-Streeters. Students will also be trained to catch a cheat, even as gamblers can give themselves away with their suspicious behavior and strange body language.

Rubin advised students that they never take eyes off the table and to ā€œwalk the tableā€ which means move side to side without moving their bodies away. The school will contain three poker tables, eight Blackjack tables, Roulette, Baccarat and Craps tables.

Other giveaways are a sudden jump in ā€˜money movement’ —a string of $25 bets followed by a sudden huge wager. Six to eight units higher is indicative of cheating. Dealers also will learn to be on the lookout for gamblers who take the money and run. There are always the players who reach up, grab chips and run for the exits.
