The fastest growing poker site in the USA just got a whole lot quicker after Global Poker announced a partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing Partners that will see Champion NASCAR driver Kurt Busch carry the pokerroom brand on his racing car starting this weekend…

Busch, a 30-race winner and the 2004 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Champion, said of the partnership:

“I’m looking forward to having Global Poker on the car starting this weekend at ISM raceway here in Phoenix. They are really excited about their first venture into NASCAR and I am glad that it is with our team.”

His No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 carrying its new Global Poker branding was unveiled yesterday…

The Global Poker phenomenon has seen 1million poker players take advantage of their unique pokerroom, which allows US players to play cash and tournament games for real money.

Big tournament series’, such as the recently-finished Grizzly Games II, have helped make them become the biggest online poker site in the US, and teaming up with Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) will bring them to a whole new audience.

Laurence Escalante, Founder and CEO of GP’s parent company VGW Holdings said:

“This new relationship between Global Poker and CGR is perfect for both brands. Global Poker is the fastest growing poker site in the US, so teaming up with CGR in NASCAR, the fastest sport in town, makes perfect sense."

He added:

“Kurt Busch and the CGR team bring high octane thrills and excitement to millions of fans all season long, which perfectly fits with our business motto, ‘entertainment with a thrill’. I am confident that together we can create something truly memorable for both our players and their fans. Thanks to our friends at Oak View Group for bringing us together.”

Busch is competing in his 20th season on the MENCS circuit, and last year he was named the 2018 MENCS Busch Pole Award winner after achieving five pole positons across the race season.

Doug Duchardt, COO of Chip Ganassi Racing, said of the new deal with Global Poker:

“It is always exciting to bring new partners to our organization and to the sport. We are delighted that Global Poker has not only made a commitment to CGR, but to also utilize the sport of NASCAR as an opportunity to promote their games.”

The company was founded by Floyd ‘Chip’ Ganassi – an inductee of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America – who has been involved in the sport for over 30 years and has teams racing in the IndyCar series and FIA World Endurance Championship as well as NASCAR.
