Global Poker to Offer Skrill for Quick and Easy Payouts

Virtual Gaming World, which pioneered the Sweepstakes-style social gaming that includes the Global Poker and Chumba Casino brands, revealed details of the ‘strategic collaboration’ this week.

Laurence Escalante, CEO of VGW, explained:

“Skrill is one of the fastest growing digital payments providers in the US. Together, we are confident that our new partnership will offer our players a seamless and secure payment option." He added: “We are particularly excited that Skrill’s capabilities will give our players more choice and flexibility to interact with our games in the way which is most convenient for them.”

What this means in practice is that Global Poker and Chumba Casino players can now make purchases of Gold Coins and redeem Sweepstakes prizes using Skrill.

The new payment provider Skrill “enables players to quickly upload funds using ACH, cards or prepaid vouchers” also affording players the option to pay using only an email address and password -  “a seamless, quick and secure payments experience”.

Lorenzo Pellegrino, a commercial leader at Skrill USA, Inc, explained:
