HighStakes’ qualifier for the Irish Poker Open Main Event, Jon “aduriz20” Gomez Samperio, has finished in 20th place after putting in a stellar performance. The Spaniard made the trip to Dublin after winning a seat in a HighStakes satellite event, alongside Anthony “ThunderballsAK” Thunder and Giorgos “Onbidea” Loukas who both failed to cash.

Gomez Samperio takes home €12,500 for his great result which is only his second career cash. Last month he registered his first score on Hendon Mob with a €2,150 prize at a local tournament.
