Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton has produced a poker chip set worth an eye-watering $24,000. The French fashion house has obviously been paying attention to the recent poker boom during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Not for the Average Joe

This new product is far from the only luxury chip set on the market, but the Louis Vuitton name is no doubt the one that carries the most weight and prestige behind it.

This isn’t something you’re ever likely to see at a regular table in the casino but maybe the likes of Bill Perkins and Dan Bilzerian might be interested.

The recent boom in the online poker sector has no doubt caught the attention of the Parisian company who have always had an eye on trends in the marketplace. They have previously cashed in on the football World Cup and more recently produced a League of Legends themed fashion range while sponsoring the eSports championship.

High Rollers

Your average poker chip set shouldn’t cost any more than $100, with many cheaper options also available.

Going the other way, you can find a product by Swedish jeweller Stahl who sell their jewel-encrusted chip set for a massive $150,000. The chips are 18-carat white gold with diamonds and rubies around the edge.

London-based luxury game maker Geoffrey Parker is thought to have the world’s most expensive poker chip set

22,364 precious stones are included adding up to 1,012 carats, worth an unbelievable $7.5 million back in 2011. This makes the Louis Vuitton version look like something you’d find on a market stall.
