It’s not unusual for online poker crusher Chris Moorman to be proud of his own poker exploits, but this time it was his better half – Katie Lindsay -  who took the laudits, scooping the Venetian Deepstack Extravaganza for over $50k!

A very good player in her own right, Lindsay was delighted to score her first tournament victory since taking down the Royal Poker Tournament in the Caribbean for $50,000 almost three full year ago…

Katie has a long way to go to match her 888poker ambassador boyfriend Chris’ remarkable successes – ‘Moorman1’ as he is known online crossing the $15million online MTT milestone this year and holding more online Triple Crowns – 29 – than anyone else in the history of the game.

Katie’s Venetian takedown, however, has taken her close to $300k in tournament cashes, and she had to see off 2012 WSOP Main Event runner-up Jesse ‘James’ Sylvia at the final table of the $600 buy-in Doublestack event to do so…

Lindsay also had a big score just a few weeks ago at the Wynn Fall Classic, another final table and 7th spot worth $24,286, just ahead of Ryan ‘Protential’ Laplante…

Her other half also tweeted his love and pride at her most recent success…

and it all adds up to another very strong couple at the top of the poker world, Kristen Bicknell and Alex Foxen much in the news recently, as are Maria Ho and Rainer Kempe.
