Achievements on the virtual felt continue to accumulate for Chris Moorman, who recently won his 26th online poker Triple Crown.

The Triple Crown is a distinction dreamed up by PocketFives and requires three victories at three separate poker sites within a span of seven days. Additional qualifications for Triple Crown recognition include tourneys with at least 100 entrants, a minimum prize pool of $1,000, and a real money buy-in (no freerolls or satellites).

That's no problem for the king of online poker who has online cashes over $14 million. Moorman's latest Triple Crown was achieved by winning titles at PokerStars, Party Poker, and 888poker.

A victory at Party Poker's Uppercut Warm-Up $20K GTD was the first leg of Moorman's 26th Triple Crown and added $8,060 to his bankroll. On to PokerStars and the $109 Fast Friday Early Edition where the online legend showed players how it's done for another $4,163.

Chris made a handful of final tables before first place prize money of $2,591 came raining down on him in 888poker's $10,000 Monsoon. As an ambassador of 888poker, it was only fitting that 'Moorman1' scored a win at his sponsor's poker room.

Trailing Moorman in Triple Crowns is Nicolas 'PokerKaiser' Fierro, who has accomplished the feat 21 times. Those two players are way ahead of the pack, with Peter 'Belabbasci' Traply and his 11 TCs a distant third.

Jonesing For Live Triple Crown

Having mastered online poker, Moorman has been a bit more active in the live poker tournament arena as of late. A new goal of his is to win a Live Triple Crown and he has two-thirds of that accomplishment in the books.

The live version consists of winning a WSOP, WPT, and EPT event. With the European Poker Tour no longer in action, the third leg is considered by most to be a victory in a PokerStars Championship event.

No time constraints are placed on the Live Triple Crown as is done in the online version. Moorman's live victories came in 2014 and 2017, first in the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic for $1,015,460, and then over the summer in Las Vegas in $3,000 NLHE 6-Handed when he bested 959 entrants for $498,682.

Only seven players have bagged a Live Triple Crown and the category may become obsolete. There is talk of including the Party Poker MILLIONS and its $100 million GTD as another leg to win.

In any event, Moorman's star shines brightly both online and live. His winnings in the latter have surpassed $5 million, putting him near the $20 million mark in career earnings combined.
