Partypoker LIVE Teams Up With Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds

They may be making waves with their Poker Party in the Caribbean right now, but partypoker LIVE also have some news for their fanbase in the UK -  a partnership with the Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds which will see the cardroom enjoy weekly events and allow patrons to use partypoker’s LIVE Dollars for their local buy-ins…

Victoria Gate is the North of England’s premier casino, and next month will see them team up with partypoker LIVE for the first multi-day event where players can use partypoker LIVE Dollars at the casino - the £100,000 Guaranteed Christmas Bonanza, expected to be the biggest festive tournament in the north.

Patrick Noakes, managing director of the Leeds venue, said:

“Victoria Gate Casino has established itself as one of the primary venues for poker in the North and the partnership with partypoker LIVE will give a whole new dimension to the already excellent offer here”.

Likewise, president of partypoker LIVE, John Duthie, told reporters:

“We are excited to be working with Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds to make partypoker LIVE events even more accessible for players in the U.K."

He added that:

The first stage in their partnership sees the partypoker LIVE Victoria Gate Casino Monday Club 50, with a buy in of £55, a guaranteed prize pool of £5,000 and added partypoker prizes.

There are also plans afoot for Victoria Gate Casino to ‘host partypoker LIVE tournaments’ and ‘collaborate with other iconic poker brands’ - the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the World Poker Tour (WPT) both part of future plans.

Poker players at the casino will also be able to deposit and withdraw from their partypoker account at Victoria Gate - and utilise the partypoker currency - PP Live Dollars – to buy into tournaments both at home and worldwide, as well use them to book flights and hotels.
