20 Jul

partypoker have released the schedule for their highly-anticipated POWERFEST Series, the 10th version of the online fest boasting a massive $28million in guarantees, with 275 tournaments listed…

The flagship tournament series will kick off on July 28th and run until August 11th with a host of different poker variants and buy-ins available, including the resurrected ‘Phased events’ and ‘POWERFEST $320s’ to celebrate the 10th running.

Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard is already itching to get started, stating:

“I am really excited that POWERFEST is coming back round again. The series is always a standout highlight on the online poker calendar and one I make space in my diary for."

$10k Freeroll kickstarts satellite week

Just back from a Vegas adventure with many of his partypoker teammates and colleagues, Leonard added:

“The 10th edition promises to be extra special too, with a host of promotions lined up to give players the chance to join the action for less, including a $10k freeroll!”

That $10k Freeroll will kickstart a special ‘POWERFEST Satellite Week’ on July 21st, awarding a mixture of series seats and satellite and feeder tickets.

The pre-series week will then continue with daily freerolls with $1,000 worth of satellite tickets per event handed out as the POWERFEST itself gets ever closer.

Championship events top the bill

The medium, high and low-level buy-ins will also witness a massive closing day of eight Championsip events – with two High Roller tournaments included – and the biggest of all will feature a guaranteed $750,000 – all running on August 11th.
