Partypoker are ringing in the changes this week, with improvements designed to “reflect our ongoing drive to improve our core poker product… and enhance the playing experience for everyone” according to the site, with table design, game offerings, buy-ins and registration all coming under the scalpel following player feedback…

The raft of updates and improvements is likely to appeal to players across a range of features, new table features chief among them with increased hole card sizes, a restyled bet slider which now includes the timebank, while the ‘Player Notes’ function has been ‘optimised to allow colour customisation’.

With the $60million GTD partypoker POWERFEST little more than a week away, the site has also managed to throw in a series of other ‘enhancements’ across PC and Mac platforms, with Mix-Max Poker ready for its debut, as well as a customisable MTT buy-in filter.

Reducing late registration, optimising tournament structures and making PKO events freezeouts are all the result of player feedback, and partypoker ambassador Patrick ‘plenopads’ Leonard has been well to the fore when it comes to taking player ideas and suggestions on board and bringing them to the attention of the head honchos,  tweeting just a couple of days ago…

…and among those waiting with baited breath to see just how the new-improved experience would look…

Head of Product at partypoker, Ross McQuater explained of the much-anticipated updates:

“This latest software update reflects our ongoing drive to improve our core poker product. We hope players love the new table designs and enjoy a smoother, more optimised playing experience thanks to various technical improvements”.

With many more improvements on the way “over the coming weeks and months”, it seems that partypoker have decided that player experience both live and online is the key to success in the market… and the PowerFest starting September 2nd will be the first big test, PokerTube planning to bring you all the best of the action.
