Poker Brat Hellmuth In Yet Another Foul Mouthed Rant

It wouldn’t be the World Series of Poker without a Phil Hellmuth meltdown, this time Layne ‘back-to-back’ Flack the object of the Poker Brat’s expletive-laden attack…

Sweetness, light and ‘positivity’ away from the green felt, Hellmuth seemingly can’t control his language when things go the wrong way – but “donkey motherfucker” is perhaps the worst we’ve heard yet from the 15-time gold bracelet winner.

Flack busted big Phil just two short of the money in the $2500 Mixed Big Bet tournament and the moment was captured in all its old-school, black-and-white finery by photographer Drew Amato…

Hellmuth’s own Twitter version of hitting the rail was somewhat less offensive, the Poker Brat persona gone and ‘introspective Phil’ at the keyboard…

Most players, of course, would be sitting out for a round or two if they tried to match Phil in the sailor’s language stakes, but Hellmuth leads a charmed existence at the tables.

Poker fans will recall last year’s version of Phil’s PottyMouth Hour, one which resulted in him paying James Campbell’s entry into this year’s Main Event.

It resulted from an ill-timed comment while an important hand was still being played, Hellmuth raging: “This mother fucking guy … fucking got away with murder all day against me. How in the fuck does this happen?” after ‘Camby33’ had shoved, but with another player still to act before Hellmuth.

Shaun Deeb, commenting on the play, stated at the time:

“This is so wrong by Phil. This is where Phil deserves penalties. You cannot talk in a multi-way pot and give away your weakness with an opponent still to act. It’s so wrong he gets away with stuff like this”.
