Making notes about your opponents is a common element to online poker for serious players. What isn't too common is when one of those opponents gets an opportunity to see how he or she is tagged.
It happened to Lex Veldhuis, whose poker game and note-taking are on display for all the world to see as atop streamer on Twitch. Lex had labeled a particular player as a 'fish,' and that player happened to tune into Veldhuis' stream and didn't appreciate how his play was categorized.
The alleged fish, Tuomo Niskanen, had a chance to confront Veldhuis at a PokerStars Online Qualifiers Meet and Greet at the EPT in Monte Carlo. Check out the video below and watch how Niskanen pays back Lex for the disparaging tag.
Lex may soon have to re-tag Niskanen considering the Finn is a Twitch streamer himself and also recorded his first live cash at the EPT. A 42nd place finish among 1,057 entries in the €330 EPT Cup #8 was good for €970 ($1,183) in prize money. Way to go, Tuomo!
