Tonybet Poker starts the new season by adding a number of intriguing and unique features to its online poker platform. Just recently the site announced its newest addition – Run It Twice tournaments, becoming the first poker room to allow players to run the board twice in online events.

Popular in live games, the Run It Twice format is well-known to many poker players, however up until now it was applied exclusively to cash games. Tonybet Poker says: “No more”. The main difference between the regular and Run It Twice tournaments is that in the latter the board is run twice when both players in the hand are all-in thus reducing the chance for the weaker player to get lucky. In such scenario the pot is split with each part going to the winner of each of the two hands.

This unique format provides the players with the insurance from running in to a bad beat or betting their tournament life on a coin flip. Meanwhile when the board is run twice, the majority of these situations end in splitting the pot with both players continuing the game with the same amount of chips as before.

The Tonybet Poker spokesperson Warren Lush said:

"When developing our poker client we always think about our players and how to provide them with a better, enhanced online poker experience. The new Run It Twice tournaments gives them exactly that.”

The double-boarded tournaments have already been launched on the site with one event running every night. The site executives have given some time for the players to adopt to the new format before the major inaugural Run It Twice tournament series which is set to kick-off on October second and give away a guaranteed prizepool of €15,000 in the course of five freebuy events.

Together with the new tournaments, Tonybet also launches the long-awaited update for its mobile applications which now feature MTTs. The latest improvement will allow players to access all tournaments along with the new Run It Twice events on their mobile devices. The update has already been released for Android phones and tablets and is set to launch on iOS in the next few days.

Another new feature on the site appeared just a few weeks ago when Tonybet Poker launched the increasingly popular KnockOut tournaments. Every day players can compete in the Super KnockOut events with the chance of winning back their buy-in or increasing their bankroll even if they don’t make it into the money.

The site representatives have also revealed that the players should expect the Tonybet Poker software to undergo a significant facelift in the near future. The new design and improved game control has already received positive feedback from players who had the chance to test it and should become available for the wider audience real soon.
