Russian player going under an online alias 'CccpVodka' has become the first player to make a million as a part of the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promotion. The Russian won this life-changing money in a matter of only six minutes, after his $5 Spin & Go turned out to be the lucky one, hiding the $1 million prize.

It was in the early morning hours that things took this unexpected turn for 'CccpVodka', as he was left staring in his screen as the game of his life was about to begin. Only two players were standing between him and one million dollars; two, three flips going your way could make you a millionaire.

He was not the only one with that dream, of course, as his compatriot 'shooLarr' and Greek player 'partalios' had their eyes set on the top prize as well. 'CccpVodka' was the one favored by poker gods, however, as he first saw 'shooLarr' to the rail and then defeated the Greek to bring home heaps of money.

The other two will not be crying over a wasted opportunity though. Both "unlucky" players have added $100,000 each to their bankrolls, which makes up for very decent hourly rate, I'm sure you would agree.

So far, Russian players have been running pretty well in the $1 million Spin & Go promo, as it was Russia's own 'sss66666' who took down the very first, historic million dollar jack pot. After him, two more players caught the lucky lightening, making 'CccpVodka' fourth millionaire created by this promo.

While the first winner wasn't in a chatty mood, his compatriot was much more forthcoming and gave an interview for PokerStars Blog. Alexander, as he is known to his real life friends and family, is 25 years old from Moscow. He said he was just about to turn in for the night, playing the one last game, and then it happened.

Then I saw comments, plenty of them... but I still couldn't believe it.

Alexander says he didn't even realize it; he thought it was an announcement for the $1 million tournament starting at a different table; may sound hard to believe, but what would you be more likely to believe - that you are the one who just hit a huge jackpot or that someone else got lucky (again)?

But then he understood that it was really happening and although he admits to making quite a few mistakes during those six minutes, cards went his way and when the last river card hit, Alexander had become a millionaire.

I finally won't [have to] check the right side of the menu anymore!

Million dollars is a life-changing money for great majority of people you meet every day, and Alexander is no exception. The win will certainly make the future a much brighter proposition. However, he says that he doesn't have and big plans at the moment, apart from some traveling.

To each their own and big congrats on the win; that said, the promotion is still going on, so it could be one of us next. Who knows; everybody always thinks it could never be me, but it has to be someone, right?
