One of the busiest weekends in Las Vegas thanks to the NCAA tournament found Andrew Neeme hitting a few different poker rooms, attempting to take full advantage of the influx of basketball-betting and poker-playing tourists.

March Madness can become Poker Madness when the sports bettors descend on the poker rooms. From the looks of the way some of his opponents played their hands against Andrew, he likely was seated among at least a few of the touristy types.

That, in and of itself, however, won't guarantee a winning session. As Neeme rightly pointed out, "you can't make yourself run good." But you can put yourself in the best position to profit, as well as to maximize those profits.

Poker Room Hopping

The first order of business was the $2/$5 cash tables at the Aria on Thursday, the NCAA tourney's opening day. The poker vlogger began recapping hands, dutifully explaining his thought processes along the way.

Booking a profit of $780, it was time to move onto another casino, as Neeme and a poker buddy started up a game at the Monte Carlo poker room.

One Less Vegas Poker Room

Vlog viewers may want to take a good look at Andrew's footage of the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. The poker room is scheduled to shut down on April 25.

The closure will reduce Las Vegas Strip poker rooms to 19. A December 2016 report from Nevada tallied 276 Strip poker tables in the 20 poker rooms in operation, excluding the annual WSOP.

MGM Resorts plans to renovate the Monte Carlo and construct two brand new hotels, Park MGM and The NoMad Las Vegas.

Neeme didn't fare too well at Monte Carlo, a loss of $793 wiping out his Aria win. But there is always tomorrow - another day, another poker room, another batch of opponents.

Free Bet

Andrew's YouTube channel subscribers were treated to two videos on March Madness weekend, with the poker vlogger making his way to the Mirage the next day. Neeme was, in kind, treated to a free $25 NCAA basketball bet by one of his fans.

A Michigan State victory put a "Jackson" in his pocket, but there would be many more Jacksons as well as C-notes in his bankroll after leaving the Mirage at 6:00 a.m. A $751 profit capped the session.
