A failed attempt to bluff a fish put a dent in his chip stack, but Jeff 'Boski' Sluzinski made a nice comeback with a big pocket pair against an Asian player who tried to push him off a huge pot.

After getting check-raised on the flop for 22,200 in chips at the 600/1,200 blind level following his bet of 10,000, Boski looks for a physical tell from his opponent and finds him "breathing very heavily, which polarizes his range to sets or bluffs."

Pause and Comment

Sluzinski's pocket pair is higher than any of the three flopped cards and he instructs his viewers to pause the video and comment as to whether he should fold, call, or shove. By the looks of the comments, a number of subscribers did exactly that, with suggestions mixed regarding the best move to make against his 25-year-old opponent.

"We almost fold, giving him credit for a set, but I decide to gamble and shove all-in," stated the MTT grinder.

The completed board revealed a flopped pair for the Asian, albeit lesser than Boski's pocket pair, resulting in a 105,000 pot.

Relentless Three-Betting

The prize pool totaled $234,000 for the Rio WSOP Circuit Monster Stack after 780 runners entered for $300 + $65. Eighty-one players will make a trip to the cashier cage and Sluzinski is dealt another high pocket pair during hand-for-hand play with 83 players remaining.

"We've been three-betting relentlessly, so this is a perfect time to three-bet again," Jeff stated, after facing a 16K raise from a middle position player with blinds at 4K/8K. Boski makes it 45K.

Unfazed, his opponent puts his tournament life on the line at the bubble by shoving all-in for 139,000. The poker vlogger is sitting on a 280,000 chip stack and makes the call.

Will Sluzinski's high pocket pair prevail once again? Or might his stack get sliced in half by the aggressive bubble play of the middle position player?
